What are birth announcements? Your baby's birth will be proclaimed to your family and friends through the use of birth announcements. You may choose to include as much, or as little, information regarding your newborn on the announcements. Traditionally, parents choose to include the baby's name, weight, height, time of birth, and date of birth. Some announcements even include a picture of the newborn. When you choose to include a picture of your baby on the announcements, you are giving friends and relatives the chance to see your baby.
