Brake repair insights
You will have a greater chance of keeping your car on the road for as long as possible with regularly scheduled maintenance checkups. It would be wise to have your brake fluid levels checked at the same time as your scheduled oil changes. Your car repair technician can also check the condition of your brake pads, drums, rotors, bearings, and anti lock and emergency braking systems and your battery, fuel, emission and ignition systems, powertrain and starting system to be sure that all are in proper working order. Do not forget to ask your technician to top off your coolant, steering, transmission and windshield wiper fluids, change oil and air filters if necessary, and also visually check your car hoses, belts and wiper blades for deterioration and replace them when needed. Last, but most certainly not least, ask your car repair technician to perform a proper tire and wheel inspection.
