Rochester NY is located in Monroe County. It is the second largest economy in the state of New York and second only to New York City. It is the third larges city in New York and the center of Monroe County which also includes Livingston, Orleans, Genesee, Ontario and Wayne Counties. It is famously called The World's Image Center or the Flower City. It is also known as the city of neighborhoods, having 36 neighborhoods with each having their own characteristics that are unique from the others.
