My little discussion about steel building
(Don't forget to grade and level your building area first!) You can lay concrete pads instead of a full foundation, if you prefer, so long as there is enough space to embed anchor bolts into the pads for the support columns. Setting the foundation is half the work of assembling your prefabricated metal building. What's left is raising and bolting the columns and rafters into place and securing the metal sheeting for the walls. You will need to frame your windows and doors when attaching the wall girts and before raising the sheeting into place. Prefabricated metal buildings also work great as airplane hangars for farmers who use crop dusters to maintain their crops.
